Custom Noise Brakers® are hand-crafted from an impression taken from a person's ear. The earplugs completely seal off the ear, providing an acoustic seal and comfortable fit, forcing any sound to enter through the Hocks Noise Filter®.

Custom Noise Brakers and Noise Braker Standards use the same Hocks Noise Filter®. Because each custom plug is made for an individual ear, it gives maximum comfort and protection.

The Noise Braker has an NRR of 19. The actual amount of noise reduction depends on fit (in the case of Noise Braker Standards), volume (the louder the volume, the more noise is reduced), and pitch. Lower sounds are not reduced as much as middle to high sounds.
